In 2002, Thomas and Matthias Strieker founded Silence Aircraft GmbH to manufacture the Silence Twister single seat aerobatic sports aircraft. The aircraft were sold worldwide as kits and they are very popular among aviation enthusiasts.

Over time, Silence Aircraft GmbH has established itself as a leading manufacturer of production molds for other aircraft builders and for the industry.

 

As an aviation enthusiast, Thomas Strieker has always been looking for new business areas and markets for aircraft construction. Over time, he specialized in finite element analysis of fiber composite aircraft structures before starting the development of autonomous flying drones.

 

In the development of the CarryAir all his experience from 30 years in the aircraft industry should flow into the development of new professional markets.

 

The company Striekair enginnering GmbH was founded at the beginning of 2022 after the VTOL CarryAir had reached product readiness for the purpose of manufacturing and marketing the CarryAir.

For the serial production of the aircraft structures we work in close cooperation with Silence Aircraft, which has a production area of 1600 m^2 at its facilities.
